Community Awareness & Special Events

Waypoints hosts a variety of Community Awareness Campaigns and Special Events throughout the year in order to educate and empower citizens of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to speak out against abusiveness in creating a violence free community. Additionally, our special events are held throughout the year in order to provide the much needed financial support to deliver our host of programs and services.

Join us on May 19th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Waypoints for a fun-filled kids' yoga session! Led by a certified yoga instructor and social worker, our 60-minute session at 9917 Fraser Avenue offers engaging activities like yoga postures, games, and mindfulness techniques. Parents, sign a consent form and drop off your child for an immersive experience. We provide all equipment; just remind your child to bring a water bottle and comfort items.
